Girard Head Start Parent Meeting

The meeting was called to order by Kelly Hall at 11:00 am.

The minutes were read from the December meeting and approved.
Board
We give our condolences to Michelle Bender for the lost of her mother.
Fund Raising
The Cookie dough sale was successful. There remains $4.80 per child in our account . We voted to sell personalized stationary as our second fundraiser. This will begin Monday, January 31st and money is collected on Thursday, February 10th (Parents' meeting day). Orders will be collected between 8:30am to 10:30am and 12:00pm to 2Pm. We keep 50% and submit 50% with the order. The notepads will be distributed about March 10th. - in time for Easter baskets.
Field Trips
The next free field trip we are planning is for February 9th and 10th to the Warren Post Office. The children will bring a self addresses stamped envelope with their name on it and a valentine letter or card will be done in class before the trip. On the day of the field trip, the children will mail the envelopes and take a tour of the post office. Considering for the last field trip Akron Zoo, Ward Beecher Planetarium or the New
